United have been desperate to keep hold of their star man for a number of years.<\/p>\n
His current \u00a3200,000 a week contract expires in 2020 and the club are looking to secure his long-term future in Manchester.<\/p>\n
It was reported earlier this week that he is prepared to commit to the Red Devils but is waiting on an offer that would see his wages jump from \u00a3200,000 a week to \u00a3300,000.<\/p>\n
