{"id":8464,"date":"2021-05-08T09:26:27","date_gmt":"2021-05-08T09:26:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.sportsnewsforyou.com\/?p=8464"},"modified":"2021-05-08T09:26:27","modified_gmt":"2021-05-08T09:26:27","slug":"jenson-button-trust-tri-heads-to-derby-for-2015","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/googmn.com\/?p=8464","title":{"rendered":"Jenson Button Trust Tri heads to Derby for 2015"},"content":{"rendered":"<p ><strong>Always a very popular race \u2013 and not just because it features one of Britain\u2019s top racing drivers showing his athletic chops \u2013 the Jenson Button Trust Triathlon is moving to Derby this year in a bid to nearly double the capacity.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>    Advertisement<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p >Previously held at Luton Hoo in Bedfordshire, this year\u2019s event will take place at Markeaton Park in Derby city centre on Sunday 12 July.<\/p>\n<p >It\u2019ll keep the same sprint format as years past, with the preliminary heat consisting of a 200m lake swim, 11km cycle and 2.5km run. The top performers will then go on to the final, 400m swim, 20km cycle and 5km run, with the runners up entering the wooden spoon race.<\/p>\n<div    >\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p >\u201cWe are very excited to be heading to Derby,\u201d said Jenson. \u201cThe move allows us to grow the capacity of the triathlon whilst also being very careful that the event doesn\u2019t lose the charm and family atmosphere we have built over the last few years.
