What I found interesting about the update, which features quotes from Lashley, talks as if Lashley is still with World Wrestling Entertainment.<\/p>\n
The article calls Lashley a \u201cWWE wrestler\u201d and features him talking about breaking in the professional wrestling business. \u201c(I) went up there for about a year and a half just to learn to change … into professional wrestling,\u201d Lashley said in the update. \u201cVince (McMahon, chairman of WWE) liked me. He said, \u2018That guy looks great. He is a (great) athlete and he knows what he\u2019s doing. Get him out there,\u201d he continued. The update notes that he has been out of the ring with a shoulder injury since August 2007.<\/p>\n
Below the most recent update is the statement (posted on January 28, 2008) where his official website says that Lashley will not be returning to WWE. As we reported a couple of weeks ago, Bobby Lashley told WrestlingNewsWorld.com\u2019s Ryan Gray that he would not be returning and despite the fact an official announcement was not made, WWE removed his profile from their official website.<\/p>\n
