Lewandowski ended his own\u00a0barren scoring run in the\u00a0Bundesliga stretching back to September 22, but Hummels insists that the Poland international\u00a0has been playing at the top of his game throughout the\u00a0campaign.<\/p>\n

It may not have been perfect but we had everything under control.”<\/p>\n Speaking after the game, Niko Kovac refused to comment on the news\u00a0conference held by the club’s hierarchy on Friday in which\u00a0Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and Uli Hoeness\u00a0labeled the German press as disrespectful.<\/p>\n “I’m responsible for the sport, that means for the football,” Kovac said. “I’m responsible for the team and not for anything else.<\/p>\n “I said before, that we only got two points out of the last four games.<\/p>\n “Twelve were possible and that’s not our requirement. We didn’t want that and that’s just not our standard.
