Maurizio Sarri is unsure about Eden Hazard\u2019s Chelsea future amid continued interest from Real Madrid.<\/p>\n
The Blues star has been linked with an \u00a388million summer move to the Spanish capital.<\/p>\n
Reports in Spain claim Hazard will push through a \u201cdream\u201d move to Real at the end of the season\u00a0and Sarri was asked for clarification about where the 28-year-old will be next season.<\/p>\n
\u201cNo, no. I know very well that he is discussing with the club but I don’t know anything else at the moment,” he said in his press conference ahead of the Carabao Cup semi-final against Tottenham\u00a0where they trail 1-0 from the first leg.<\/p>\n
\u201cI don’t know if he has decided yet that he wants to stay here or have another experience in another club.\u201d<\/p>\n
Sarri questioned the mentality of his players after their 2-0 defeat to Arsenal on Saturday.<\/p>\n
And Hazard, who has scored 12 goals and registered 10 assists this season, admitted his manager thinks he should be contributing more.<\/p>\n
He said: \u201cI’ve frustrated all my managers and now I’m still frustrating Sarri.<\/p>\n
\u201cI frustrated [Jose] Mourinho. They think I need to score more, do more of this or that. And the next coach, I’ll frustrate him too.\u201d<\/p>\n
In response, Sarri dubbed Hazard an \u201cindividual\u201d in his pre-Tottenham press conference.<\/p>\n
He said: \u201cSometimes [he does frustrate me]! I prefer him when he speaks with his feet.<\/p>\n
“He is more an individual player than a leader. He is very important of course because he’s a great player.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe can win the match in two minutes, sometimes one, but at the moment he is not a leader.\u201d<\/p>\n
Hazard has made no secret of his admiration of Real Madrid and has flirted with the club on numerous occasions.<\/p>\n
He was honest when recently asked if he would like to join the club. “Why not?” he replied.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou know it very well. You\u2019re asking the question, but you know what the answer will be so you don\u2019t have to ask it.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019ve won everything in England, apart from the\u00a0Community Shield, but that doesn\u2019t mean I\u2019m leaving.
