A majority of likely voters in Georgia\u2019s 6th Congressional District hold an unfavorable impression of the Republican plan to repeal and replace ObamaCare, according to a new poll by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.<\/p>\n
While 62 percent hold an unfavorable impression of the legislation, 25 percent have a favorable impression of the plan, the poll said. Thirteen percent did not know or did not provide an answer.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Additionally, 81 percent said healthcare is either an \u201cextremely important\u201d or \u201cvery important\u201d issue in the upcoming June 20 special election. Fourteen percent said it is a \u201csomewhat important\u201d issue and 5 percent said it was \u201cless important.\u201d<\/p>\n
The results of the survey come with the district about a week away from going to the polls for the special election that has drawn both funds and attention throughout the country.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Republicans in the Senate have said a vote on the legislation could come in July.<\/p>\n
Abt Associates conducted the poll from June 5 to June 8, surveying 1,000 registered voters. It has a margin of error of 4 percentage points.<\/p>\n
