I was pretty sure no one asked Scott Brown how it felt to run as a man,&#8221; she continued. &#8220;Yes, there was a double-standard. Saving health care for tens of millions of Americans,&#8221; she continued.<\/p>\n<p>The senator said women had gained political momentum in recent years, with a record number running for and winning political office, and more women supporting candidates with &#8220;unprecedented numbers of grassroots donations.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe TV talking heads and Twitter pundits might tell us to smile more and stop being so shrill or bossy. And oh yes, there\u2019s that L word: \u2018Likeable.\u2019\u00a0Is she likeable enough? Nevertheless, we persist,&#8221;\u00a0she wrote. &#8220;Once again, we\u2019ll prove the naysayers wrong.
