\u201cI thought you might have been high when you said it,\u201d Booker said during Wednesday\u2019s debate to laughs from the audience.<\/p>\n
\u201cMarijuana in our country is already legal for privileged people,\u201d Booker continued, adding that the war on drugs has been a war on black and brown Americans.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Booker added that this is one of the issues Democrats will need\u00a0to address in order to win in 2020.<\/p>\n

He also said that no candidate needs a focus group to know that black voters are \u201cpissed off.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
