OREM, Utah — South Dakota State wrestler Cody Pack has been named the Western Wrestling Conference Wrestler of the Week for his dual-clinching win over Air Force’s Josh Kreimier on Sunday, as announced by conference officials Tuesday afternoon.<\/p>\n

Pack, who is ranked 17th in InterMat’s latest rankings, set the tone in the first period with a takedown and a three-point nearfall against Kreimier and ended up winning, 8-5. This was Pack’s first-career win over Kreimier, who pinned and teched him last season.<\/p>\n

Pack is now 18-6 on the year, including a 5-1 dual mark and is 2-0 in the WWC.
SDSU (3-3, 2-0 WWC) sits atop the WWC with an unblemished 2-0 mark.<\/p>\n
