It took a lot of guts in this day and age to attempt a 60:00 match. Nowadays, it’s considered gutsy to put on a 10:00 match on television and you never see anything but PPV main events last more than 20:00. The participants, Rock and HHH, went 36:28 at Wrestlemania. Several times during the broadcast of this show it was noted that both of their longest matches was a 30:04 PPV draw in 1998 which was a ***1\/4 match.<\/p>\n

Bryan Danielson made a tweet to Cody Rhodes\u00a0that has gotten people talking, first talking about how being ROH champion was one of the best times of his career and then saying, “If you hold the ROH title 462 days, I\u00a0may have to come after you, which would be\u00a09\/28\/18.\u00a0Be forewarned.”\u00a0He did immediately joke that he was trolling.<\/p>\n
Impact Wrestling is teasing a huge surprise at Slammiversary.\u00a0The only thing we’ve been told is that it is not a pro wrestler. Wrestlingnewsworld.com\u00a0and other places are saying Shaquille O’Neal.\u00a0The tease is that it’s the\u00a0most famous person in Orlando and O’Neal was the biggest superstar in\u00a0Orlando when he played for the Magic.\u00a0Jarrett’s exact words were “the most powerful, influential resident of Orlando.”\u00a0I was under the impression O’Neal lived in Atlanta, but I doubt that technicality matters.<\/p>\n
As far as weekend trending numbers, nothing from ROH cracked 20,000 on Google.\u00a0As of earlier today, Matt Mitrione was No. 7 for\u00a0Sunday\u00a0at 20,000 based on the crazy knockout with Fedor Emelianenko and his post-match promo.\u00a0Bellator was No. 2\u00a0on Saturday\u00a0with 200,000 which is about the same as a low level UFC show but behind the last few UFC shows.\u00a0Eid Mubarak was No. 1.\u00a0GLOW was No. 5\u00a0on Friday\u00a0at 100,000.<\/p>\n
