{"id":5354,"date":"2020-07-03T15:12:28","date_gmt":"2020-07-03T15:12:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.sportsnewsforyou.com\/?p=5354"},"modified":"2020-07-03T15:12:28","modified_gmt":"2020-07-03T15:12:28","slug":"mary-24-msu-moorhead-10","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/googmn.com\/?p=5354","title":{"rendered":"Mary 24, MSU-Moorhead 10"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Dragon Wrestlers Fall at No. 24 UMary, 24-10<\/em><\/p>\n<p>BISMARCK, N.D. \u2014 The Minnesota State University Moorhead wrestling team dropped a 24-10 contest to No. 24 UMary in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference action Friday night in Bismarck, N.D.<\/p>\n<p>MSUM fell to 1-5 overall and 1-1 in the NSIC with the loss while UMary improved to 3-1 overall and 1-1 in the league.<\/p>\n<p>Sophomore Cole Jones, who has moved up to seventh in the nation at 125, suffered a 10-5 loss to UMary&#8217;s Nate Humann to open the dual. Jones fell to 18-6 on the season. The Marauders won by major decision at 133 to make it 7-0.<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignleft is-resized\"><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<p>Redshirt freshman Mason Schulz (15-11) got MSUM on the board with a 7-0 win over Hunter Eckert at 141. UMary won at 149 to push the lead back to 10-3.<\/p>\n<p>Freshman Braydon Ortloff (11-9) won by major decision at 157 for MSUM, picking up a 20-8 win over Isaac Berger to cut the deficit to 10-7.<\/p>\n<p>UMary won the next three matches, including by major decision at 174 and 184, to push the lead to 21-7.<\/p>\n<p>Sophomore Mitch Kotschevar won at 197, beating UMary&#8217;s Gabe Anderson 6-3. MSUM lost 4-0 at 285 to wrap up the dual.<\/p>\n<p>MSUM will face Minot State at 3 p.m. on Saturday in Minot, N.D.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mary 24, MSU-Moorhead 10<\/strong><br \/>125-Nate Humann (UM) dec.
