Our condolences to CSU&#8217;s <b>Lorin Obler<\/b> who saw the silver chalice slip from his grasp while doing a face plant before the <b>Big Hill<\/b> at Trail to Ale. Lorin e-mailed that he&#8217;s still shooting for Paddy&#8217;s. <\/font><\/p>\n<p>With <b>Joe Navas<\/b> calculating it&#8217;s over both in the quest for a vest and the top spot on the award stand, Quarterdeck beer sampler <b>Mike Norton<\/b> is chuckling at the body count as he takes over second. The legend &#8211; <b>Paul Hammond<\/b> &#8211; is once again proving he&#8217;s Mr. October while stablemate <b>Chris Spinney<\/b> is finally road worthy.\n<\/p>\n<p>HFC&#8217;s <b>Lee Danforth<\/b> is solid among the top 5 while the BAA&#8217;s crafty <b>Chris Smith<\/b> is once again poised to claim the top Master spot if he doesn&#8217;t move into the top 5 himself.\n<\/p>\n<p>While most of his <b>Thirsty Irish Runner<\/b> teammates were frying eggs on the hood of their RV in Chicago, true-blue <b>Dave Wessman<\/b> was locking up the Senior division. NH&#8217;s <b>Brian Byrne<\/b> turned 60 three races into the Series and resides as a lame-duck second among Seniors but a live third among Veterans. That&#8217;ll be second after Paddy&#8217;s as he&#8217;s just 2-points behind <b>Dave Pember<\/b> who&#8217;ll miss Paddy&#8217;s while running the Moab Half Marathon.<br \/>Since <b>Iron Joe Drugan<\/b> turned to aluminum, the Veteran division belongs to <b>Dave Cobb.<\/b>\n<\/p>\n<p>Despite being slobberknocked by everyone &#8211; including Marshfield teammate <b>Tom Wright<\/b> &#8211; at Bobby Bell, <b>Bob Hillman<\/b> still ran a good race, picked up a point and will be wearing the 70+ maillot jeune at Paddys<br \/>To that end, anyone that&#8217;s leading the Open, Masters, Senior, Vet or 70+ division should stop by the NER booth across from Paddy&#8217;s on race day and pick up your yellow leader&#8217;s jersey.
