A woman had to deliver a stillborn child because she was denied admission into a government hospital in Macherla, Andhra Pradesh. But this isn’t the first such incident in the East Indian state.<\/p>\n

The statistics of last three month are more appalling. A total of 2,466 infants have died between October to December 2017 in the state. Not a huge difference compared to the 2,497 infant mortalities recorded between July to September 2017.<\/p>\n
