Alphonso Davies admits he is \u201cliving the dream\u201d after making his debut for Bayern Munich, with success in the Telekom Cup final leading the Canadian teenager to admit \u201cit makes me want to cry\u201d.<\/p>\n
In July 2018, the Bundesliga giants revealed that they had reached an agreement with the Vancouver Whitecaps to take the talented 18-year-old.<\/p>\n
A deal worth an initial $13.5 million (\u00a310m), which could rise as high as $22m (\u00a317m) \u2013 a record for an MLS player \u2013 allowed Davies to see out the calendar year in his homeland before heading to Germany.<\/p>\n

It’s good to be confident and he has settled in well.\u201d<\/p>\n David Alaba added: \u201cHe\u2019s a great kid and he has a lot of potential.<\/p>\n \u201cThat\u2019s no secret as we would not have got him otherwise.\u201d<\/p>\n Robert Lewandowski has also talked up Davies\u2019 obvious talent, with a hot prospect having already shown enough during his short time with Bayern to suggest that he will prove to be a shrewd addition for the present and future.<\/p>\n The prolific Polish striker told fcbayern.tv<\/em>: \u201cI\u2019ll try and speak with Alphonso a lot.<\/p>\n \u201cFor him I know that\u2019s very important, that he feels comfortable in the new team and I want to help him.
