Arsenal are weighing up a move for Braga striker Francisco Trincao, according to reports.<\/p>\n
The 19-year-old, who predominantly plays as a winger or a second striker, has featured mainly for Braga’s B team this season and has caught the eye of Emirates talent-spotters.<\/p>\n
According to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato Web, Gunners scouts have “twice watched” the forward and have been impressed with his displays.<\/p>\n
Trincao has played just four minutes with the senior team this season but has been been a regular in Braga’s B team of late, making seven appearances in Portugal’s second division.<\/p>\n
He has also shown excellent form for Portugal’s Under-19’s, scoring seven goals in 13 appearances for the juniors.<\/p>\n
Unai Emery has made it clear that he does not believe any signings will be made this month, but with Trincao so young and available for a relatively cheap fee,\u00a0the board could be persuaded to add to their attacking ranks.<\/p>\n
