Simon Jordan has launched a scathing attack on Chelsea and the \u2018culture\u2019 at the club, as manager Maurizio Sarri finds himself under pressure after only six months in charge.<\/p>\n
The former Crystal Palace chairman also criticised Sarri for his \u2018laughable\u2019 outburst against his players following their 2-0 defeat to Arsenal in Saturday\u2019s London derby.<\/p>\n
Sarri said he was \u2018extremely angry\u2019 with his team and blasted their mentality after a dreadful performance at the Emirates Stadium which saw them register just one shot on target.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s all looking very familiar for the club, whose previous two managers Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte both left amid fallings out with the dressing room.<\/p>\n
And Jordan believes a rotten atmosphere at the club could be to blame.<\/p>\n
\u201cI think Chelsea have got a little bit of an issue with Sarri and what\u2019s going on behind the scenes,\u201d he told talkSPORT host Jim White on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
\u201cSarri\u2019s had this outburst which I found at the time a bit perplexing.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m all for players and managers calling out one another and being honest, but I felt the approach he took in that outburst was implausible and laughable.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhen you call people out on their entire mental approach and the weakness of a group of players that clearly can\u2019t be weak – they\u2019ve won every aspect of every tournament, in different guises, but clearly they can\u2019t be weak.<\/p>\n
\u201cPart of their inability to motivate themselves must come from the manager\u2019s responsibility to motivate them as well, that\u2019s part of his job.<\/p>\n
\u201cI think this is more about the culture of what\u2019s happening at Chelsea.<\/p>\n
\u201cIf you look at the culture at Chelsea and you look at the last three managers, at Antonio Conte\u2019s public fall out with players, at Jose Mourinho \u2013 OK, Mourinho could fall out with an empty room \u2013 and Sarri now\u2026<\/p>\n
