Leeds United winger Jack Clarke is being tracked by Premier League giants Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur, according to reports.<\/p>\n
Clarke, 18, has enjoyed a breakout season at Elland Road, making 13 appearances for Marcelo Bielsa’s promotion chasers and chipping in with two goals and two assists.<\/p>\n
The youngster’s time is being managed by Bielsa, and he only made his first league start for the Championship leaders last week, assisting Kemar Roofe’s opening goal in the 2-0 defeat of Derby.<\/p>\n
Despite his game time being limited to substitute appearances, Clarke has earned admiring glances from English football’s highest division, with Leeds currently stalling on offering him a new contract.<\/p>\n
There are still two-and-a-half years to run on the teenager’s existing deal, and, according to the Daily Mail, Tottenham and Manchester City are keeping tabs on him.<\/p>\n
Reports have suggested Leeds will look to tie Clarke down on a long-term contract, but talks are not underway and the Premier League duo have been alerted.<\/p>\n
Bielsa had high praise for Clarke when discussing his impact upon Leeds’ first-team last month.<\/p>\n
“Every time he plays he adapts better to the level of demands of the team of Leeds,” the Argentine said. “He doesn\u2019t look like a young player and every time he plays he has the capacity to create a difference with the opponent.<\/p>\n
