Lukaku, 25, has endured a tough time this season which has included a barren spell of no goals in three months at one stage.<\/p>\n
And with United likewise struggling on the pitch, the Belgian striker was linked with a move away from the club.<\/p>\n
The Italian giants had been mooted as one of those potential suitors who may be interested in securing a move for Lukaku.<\/p>\n
Discussing the Serie A club ahead of United’s Champions League group game in October, he is quoted as saying:\u00a0\u201cJuve have a great project in place and they just keep going. Every year they try to get stronger.<\/p>\n
\u201cWithout doubt, Juve are one of the two-three best teams in Europe. They\u2019ve got a great Coach on the bench and extraordinary players in every area of the team.”<\/p>\n
Lukaku\u2019s brother, Jordan, plays for Lazio as a wing-back and\u00a0when asked if the two could play in\u00a0Serie A\u00a0together one day, the 25-year-old is quoted saying: \u201cWhy not? I hope it happens.\u201d<\/p>\n
However, he has taken to social media to shut down any reports linking him away from Old Trafford.<\/p>\n
He posted to his Instagram story a black background with the caption: \u201cWhen the hate\u00a0don\u2019t\u00a0work they start telling lies.\u201d<\/p>\n
Former boss Jose Mourinho had reportedly fallen out with a number of players behind closed doors at Old Trafford – although Lukaku was not thought to be one of them.<\/p>\n
Several players were rumoured to have wanted to leave during his doomed reign, including Paul Pogba, Alexis Sanchez and Anthony Martial.<\/p>\n
While interim boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has come in and rejuvenated the squad – winning all seven of his games in charge so far – Lukaku has had to settle for a play on the bench.<\/p>\n
England striker Marcus Rashford has been in brilliant form for United, scoring five goals in his last seven appearances.<\/p>\n
