{"id":2548,"date":"2019-11-25T01:54:53","date_gmt":"2019-11-25T01:54:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.sportsnewsforyou.com\/?p=2548"},"modified":"2019-11-25T01:54:53","modified_gmt":"2019-11-25T01:54:53","slug":"robert-kubica-now-ready-to-test-an-f1-car","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/googmn.com\/?p=2548","title":{"rendered":"Robert Kubica now ready to test an F1 car"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Former BWM-Sauber driver and Grand Prix winner Robert Kubica, says he is now ready to get behind the wheel of an F1 and test his ability.<\/p>\n<p>The Polish driver&#8217;s F1 career was cut short following a severe arm injury sustained in a rally crash in the winter of 2011.<\/p>\n<p>Kubica slowly but surely nursed himself back to health but physical limitations linked to his arm injury prohibited a return to F1.<\/p>\n<p>He continued to compete in rallying, and has signed on to race full-time in the World Endurance Championship with the ByKolles LMP1 team, which will race at Le Mans in June.<\/p>\n<p>Kubica&#8217;s return to road racing, and a few hours spent in Mercedes F1 simulator in the past, have sparked the Pole&#8217;s motivation to give himself a competitive run in a Grand Prix car.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Kubica heads to WEC for full-time LMP1 gig\n<\/ul>\n<p>&#8220;I know that often some chances only come one time, but I always wanted to be sure about my condition and what I can do,&#8221; Kubica was quoted as saying by Autosport<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;And if I was not sure, I always said to myself, &#8216;forget it&#8217;. My physical condition is not a common one, and few people have experienced similar circumstances.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Everyone reacts in a different way &#8211; and that can be a very personal thing.
