Unai Emery has claimed the injury sustained by Arsenal’s Hector Bellerin is “not positive on first impression” after the right-back was carried off during the 2-0 victory over Chelsea.<\/p>\n
Bellerin, 23, was take off on a stretcher on 72 minutes after suffering the knee injury at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.<\/p>\n
The Spaniard was making his return to the Gunner’s starting XI after picking up a calf injury against Southampton in December.<\/p>\n
But the outlook looks bleak for Bellerin, with Emery saying:\u00a0“The prediction is it could be an important injury.<\/p>\n
“We have to wait until tomorrow, but first impressions are not positive.”<\/p>\n
It was a sour end to what was a fantastic win over their rivals for fourth spot in the Premier League as Arsenal reduced the gap on Chelsea to three points.<\/p>\n
First-half goals from Alexandre Lacazette and Laurent Koscielny was enough to give Arsenal the three points.<\/p>\n
Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri launched an almighty attack on his player’s mentality after the game but Emery was full of praise for his players, adding:\u00a0“Today, every circumstance came with us. The mentality was good.<\/p>\n
