He\u2019s only made two appearances for the south-coast club and endured a frustrating loan spell with Barnsley last season.<\/p>\n<p>But the 21-year-old has ignited his career at Birmingham, appearing 19 times in the Blues\u2019 surprising promotion push. Garry Monk\u2019s men are just four points off the top six.<\/p>\n<h3>Arsenal &#8211; Reiss Nelson, on loan at Hoffenheim<\/h3>\n<p>After making just three Premier League appearances last season, Nelson needed a move away from the Emirates.<\/p>\n<p>The attacking midfielder, 19, is thriving in the Bundesliga with Hoffenheim, scoring six goals to help them climb to seventh in the table.<\/p>\n<p>His performances have reportedly caught the eye of England boss Gareth Southgate, who could hand him a first senior call-up if his form continues.<\/p>\n<h3>Brighton &amp; Hove Albion \u2013 Christian Walton, on loan at Wigan<\/h3>\n<p>Wigan re-signed the goalkeeper on loan after his 19 clean sheets helped the club win promotion from League One last season.<\/p>\n<p>He has started in all but one of their 27 Championship games as they sit 19th in the table.<\/p>\n<p>Walton could even sign for the Latics on a permanent deal if he keeps up his solid form.<\/p>\n<h3>Burnley &#8211; Nahki Wells, on loan at Queens Park Rangers<\/h3>\n<p>Wells failed to start a game for Burnley following his \u00a35million move from Huddersfield last season.<\/p>\n<p>His summer departure was always likely, and a lucky Championship club were getting a goalscorer. He joined QPR in August and has become a key player for Steve McClaren\u2019s side.<\/p>\n<p>Wells\u2019 six goals and three assists in 20 league starts have helped QPR distance themselves from the relegation zone after a poor start.<\/p>\n<h3>Cardiff City \u2013 Mark Harris, on loan at Newport County<\/h3>\n<p>Cardiff have not loaned out too many players &#8211; they need as many bodies as possible to avoid relegation.<\/p>\n<p>But young midfielder Harris, 20, has made 20 appearances for League Two club Newport County, scoring three goals.<\/p>\n<p>He will look to play a part in their bid to break into the play-off places in the second half of the season.<\/p>\n<h3>Chelsea \u2013 Tammy Abraham, on loan at Aston Villa<\/h3>\n<p>Abraham, who is still only 21, struggled for form in the Premier League last year as his loan club Swansea suffered relegation.<\/p>\n<p>But he has found his feet in the Championship with Aston Villa. Despite not playing until mid-September, he is the division\u2019s joint-top scorer with 16 goals.<\/p>\n<p>He has even been linked with a \u00a315million move to Wolves this month.<\/p>\n<h3>Crystal Palace \u2013 Ryan Inniss, on loan at Dundee<\/h3>\n<p>Palace\u2019s loanees have not fared too well since leaving last summer.<\/p>\n<p>But their best player has been Inniss, who did well for Scottish Premiership side Dundee before Jim McIntyre took over in October.<\/p>\n<p>He can\u2019t play for another club this season after featuring for the Eagles in the Carabao Cup in August. The 23-year-old faces a fight on his hands to regain a starting spot.<\/p>\n<h3>Everton \u2013 Nikola Vlasic, on loan at CSKA Moscow<\/h3>\n<p>Someone must have seen something in Vlasic for Everton to sign him for \u00a310million in 2017.<\/p>\n<p>He failed to adapt to the physicality of the Premier League and was shipped out on loan to Russia by Marco Silva.<\/p>\n<p>The midfielder has found the net seven times for CSKA Moscow and scored the winning goal in their shock Champions League win over Real Madrid in October.<\/p>\n<p>Is he proving his doubters wrong?<\/p>\n<h3>Fulham \u2013 Rui Fonte, on loan at Lille<\/h3>\n<p>Fonte has been in and out of Lille\u2019s side, who are enjoying a successful season. They are in second place but trail league leaders Paris Saint-Germain by 13 points.<\/p>\n<p>The striker has been rotated with former Chelsea frontman Loic Remy.<\/p>\n<h3>Huddersfield \u2013 Jack Payne, on loan at Bradford<\/h3>\n<p>Payne has been a shining light in Bradford\u2019s dreadful season. The Bantams, who would have had high hopes for the campaign last summer, are battling relegation from League One.<\/p>\n<p>But Payne has scored eight goals in their bid to avoid the drop \u2013 they are just one point from safety.<\/p>\n<p>This week, the Yorkshire club managed to retain the playmaker for the rest of the season after agreeing to cover a much larger percentage of his wages.<\/p>\n<h3>Leicester City \u2013 Filip Benkovic, on loan at Celtic<\/h3>\n<p>Harvey Barnes would have been on this list if Leicester hadn\u2019t cut short his loan spell with West Brom last week.<\/p>\n<p>But Benkovic, who joined the Foxes for a reported \u00a313million from Dinamo Zagreb before being loaned to Celtic, has formed a formidable defensive partnership with Dedryck Boyata.<\/p>\n<p>The pair have received rave reviews for their performances as Celtic are top of the Scottish Premiership on goal difference.<\/p>\n<h3>Liverpool \u2013 Harry Wilson, on loan at Derby County<\/h3>\n<p>Wilson has gained a reputation of scoring wonder goals for Frank Lampard\u2019s promotion-chasing Derby.<\/p>\n<p>His 10 goals include a stunning free-kick which came in the Rams\u2019 Carabao Cup win over Manchester United in September.<\/p>\n<p>He could be pushing the likes of Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah for a first-time place next season.<\/p>\n<h3>Manchester City \u2013 Jack Harrison, on loan at Leeds United<\/h3>\n<p>Harrison has featured prominently for Leeds, who are flying under Marcelo Bielsa. He scored in their 2-0 win against promotion rivals Derby last Friday to maintain their lead at the top of the table.<\/p>\n<p>The former New York City winger is unlikely to ever play for Manchester City, but could be a Premier League player with Leeds next season.<\/p>\n<h3>Manchester United \u2013 Dean Henderson, on loan at Sheffield United<\/h3>\n<p>Henderson was rewarded with a new two-year deal at Manchester United in June following his impressive performances for League One club Shrewsbury.<\/p>\n<p>He has played every minute of Sheffield United\u2019s Championship campaign as they trail Leeds by four points.<\/p>\n<p>The 21-year-old registered an assist after setting up Billy Sharp in the Blades\u2019 3-2 win over Preston in September<\/p>\n<h3>Newcastle United \u2013 Dwight Gayle, on loan at West Brom<\/h3>\n<p>Gayle has always been prolific in the Championship \u2013 and this season has been no different.<\/p>\n<p>The ex-Palace talisman has 13 goals in 20 league games with West Brom aiming for automatic promotion.<\/p>\n<p>And Gayle\u2019s form will play a huge role in their attempt to return to the top-flight at the first time of asking.<\/p>\n<h3>Southampton \u2013 Harrison Reed, on loan at Blackburn Rovers<\/h3>\n<p>The midfielder\u2019s versatility has been key to Tony Mowbray\u2019s side, who are sitting comfortably in mid-table on their return to the Championship.<\/p>\n<p>Reed has starred for Rovers, playing in the middle of the park or on the right wing.<\/p>\n<h3>Tottenham Hotspur \u2013 Josh Onomah, on loan at Sheffield Wednesday<\/h3>\n<p>Onomah\u2019s loan spell has been disrupted by injuries, he has been crocked since Boxing Day. But when he has played, he\u2019s shown his quality, with three assists in eight league starts.<\/p>\n<p>He\u2019ll need to stay fully fit for the second half of the season to push Wednesday up the table.<\/p>\n<h3>Watford \u2013 Dimitri Foulquier, on loan at Getafe<\/h3>\n<p>Foulquier is yet to make his Watford debut since joining from Granada in 2017. He signed a season-long loan deal with Getafe last summer where he has gone on to make 15 appearances so far.<\/p>\n<p>The French defender scored in back-to-back games against Rayo Vallecano and Real Betis in October.<\/p>\n<h3>West Ham United \u2013 Josh Cullen, on loan at Charlton<\/h3>\n<p>Some West Ham fans believed this would be Cullen\u2019s breakthrough season at the London Stadium, however, Manuel Pellegrini loaned him to Charlton on the penultimate day of the summer transfer window.<\/p>\n<p>He impressed Addicks fans with his assured displays in midfield before dislocating his shoulder in November.
