Simon Porte Jacquemus has announced his brand’s first unisex
\nfashion show to celebrate ten years in business. Slated for June 24 of
\nthis year, the show will take place in the designer’s home region of
\nProvence.<\/p>\n
Jacquemus’ namesake label has been growing steadily in recent
\nseasons, grabbing attention through Instagrammable and celeb-favored
\naccessories like its mini Le Chiquito handbag that debuted on the
\nrunway earlier this year.<\/p>\n
The bag, which retails around 430 dollars, has a depth of just 2.4
\ninches yet increased Jacquemus’ social media impressions by 1,831
\npercent. It only took a few weeks for the style to sell out in
\nmultiple colorways; now Le Chiquito has accounted for at least 30
\npercent of the brand’s total revenue, according to WWD.<\/p>\n
The designer told WWD that he expects the Jacquemus brand’s sales
\nto increase by 11.5 million euros from last year, totaling between 23
\nmillion and 25 million euros in 2019.<\/p>\n
