Mobile and Science and Arts garner their second straight award.<\/p>\n<p>Georgia Gwinnett, Mobile, Vanguard, Science and Arts and Marian competed at the NAIA World Series.<\/p>\n<p>Regional winners this season were:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Region I \u2013 Georgia Gwinnett College<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Head Coach:&nbsp;<\/strong>Kat Ihlenburg<br \/><strong>Assistant Coaches:&nbsp;<\/strong>John Ihlenburg, Tony Medders<br \/><strong>Record:&nbsp;<\/strong>45-16<\/p>\n<p>Guided the Grizzlies to the 2019 NAIA World Series semifinals, the deepest postseason run in program history\u2026 The 45 wins are the third most in a single season\u2026 Captured three World Series victories\u2026 Achieved a top-10 national ranking\u2026 Won third consecutive I.A.A. championship\u2026 Ihlenburg was named I.A.A Coach of the Year.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Region II \u2013 University of Mobile<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Head Coach:&nbsp;<\/strong>Alison Sellers-Cook<br \/><strong>Assistant Coaches:&nbsp;<\/strong>Steve Alcorn, Kirstyn Joiner<br \/><strong>Record:&nbsp;<\/strong>52-13, 31-7 Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC)<\/p>\n<p>As the seventh seed, posted 1-2 mark in their second straight appearance at the NAIA World Series\u2026 Sellers-Cook was named SSAC Coach of the Year\u2026 SSAC regular season and tournament champions\u2026 Posted the third most wins in program history.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Region III \u2013 Vanguard University<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Head Coach:&nbsp;<\/strong>Beth Renkoski<br \/><strong>Assistant Coach:&nbsp;<\/strong>Sony Mitchell<br \/><strong>Record:&nbsp;<\/strong>46-13, 20-4 Golden State Athletic Conference (GSAC)<\/p>\n<p>Punched first ticket to NAIA World Series since 2007 and fourth in program history\u2026 GSAC regular season champions\u2026 Renkoski named GSAC Coach of the Year\u2026 Ranked No. 8 in final NAIA regular-season poll.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Region IV \u2013 Science and Arts (Okla.)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Head Coach:&nbsp;<\/strong>Jadyn Wallis<br \/><strong>Assistant Coaches:&nbsp;<\/strong>Kayla Adams, Ken Richardson, Chloe Clifton<br \/><strong>Record:&nbsp;<\/strong>59-4, 36-0 Sooner Athletic Conference (SAC)<\/p>\n<p>Guided defending champs to NAIA World Series semifinals in 2019\u2026 Ranked NAIA\u2019s No. 1 team all season\u2026 Started season 52-0 and set an NAIA-record with 59 straight wins, which included seven at the end of the 2018 campaign\u2026 Owned college softball\u2019s longest active winning streak for&nbsp;&nbsp;the majority of the season\u2026 SAC regular-season champions\u2026 Wallis named SAC Coach of the Year.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Region V \u2013 IU Southeast<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Head Coach:&nbsp;<\/strong>Joe Witten<br \/><strong>Assistants:&nbsp;<\/strong>Kendra Deark-Witten, Bill Pierce, Brookelyn Visker<br \/><strong>Record:&nbsp;<\/strong>33-25, 13-5 River States Conference (RSC)<\/p>\n<p>Defeated RSC regular-season champions Rio Grande twice and posted three elimination wins on the final day to capture the program\u2019s first RSC tournament title\u2026 Made third NAIA Opening Round appearance in last four years under Witten.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Region VI \u2013 Marian (Ind.)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Head Coach:&nbsp;<\/strong>Scott Fleming<br \/><strong>Assistant Coaches:&nbsp;<\/strong>Hannah Williams, Mike Henderson<br \/><strong>Student Assistant:<\/strong> Morgan Burtron<br \/><strong>Record:&nbsp;<\/strong>54-3, 35-0 Crossroads League<\/p>\n<p>No. 2 overall seed at the 2019 NAIA World Series\u2026 Started season 50-0 with first defeat coming in NAIA Opening Round\u2026 Captured Crossroads League regular season title\u2026 54 wins, 50-0 start and .947 winning percentage are all program records\u2026 Fleming was named Crossroad Coach of the Year and the Knights swept all major conference awards\u2026 47-0 start was the first undefeated regular season in program history.<\/p>\n<p>Click Here: <a href='https:\/\/www.kankenbags.com\/kanken-mini-cheap-backpack' title='kanken mini cheap'>kanken mini cheap<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>LOUISVILLE, Ky. \u2013 Six programs were selected by their peers as 2019 NAIA Regional Coaching Staffs of the Year, announced the Association on Monday afternoon.
