L’\u00c9quipe confirm that Ligue 1 side Lyon have made an approach for 33-year-old central defender Laurent Koscielny.<\/p>\n

The French international defender is out of contract with Arsenal in 12 months time; Rennes, Bayer Leverkusen and AC Milan are all possible destinations this summer.<\/p>\n

Lyon made contact at the beginning of May, when Juninho was appointed Sporting Director and Sylvinho as manager.<\/p>\n

Koscielny is interested in Lyon, but Arsenal are not willing to let the Frenchman for free and may even offer him a contract extension.<\/p>\n

OL continue to pursue deals for Eric Bailly (Manchester United) and Joachim Andersen (Sampdoria) and could sign two central defenders this summer, with Koscielny being one of them.<\/p>\n

If they are able to sign two centre-backs, then they may seek to push Marcelo out of the door.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
