BARCELONA have reportedly \u2018expressed their interest\u2019 in signing Marcus Rashford.<\/p>\n
The Manchester United forward is believed to be considering his future amid \u2018uncertainty\u2019 over his role at Old Trafford.<\/p>\n
Speculation that the 24-year-old may be looking to depart the Red Devils emerged after he was left out of the starting XI for the Manchester derby defeat at City on March 6.<\/p>\n
Now the MEN claims that a source close to the star has said the \u2018phone hasn't stopped ringing' since those transfer rumours began.<\/p>\n
Despite the development, it is understood deep down Rashford does not want to leave United and the move could spur the club into opening discussions over a new long-term contract.<\/p>\n
It goes on to state that Barcelona have \u2018wasted little time in touching base\u2019 with the player\u2019s representatives to declare their interest.<\/p>\n

And, shockingly, the report also adds that Liverpool have \u2018made it known\u2019 they are also admirers of Rashford.<\/p>\n
That potential transfer seems almost impossible due to the bitter rivalry between the two powerhouses with Phil Chisnall the last to move between the clubs in 1964.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Rashford is still reluctant to leave United but only has just over a year remaining on his current contract – although United do have the option of a 12-month extension.<\/p>\n
However this latest report also adds that it could \u2018spur the club into opening discussions over a new long-term contract\u2019 with the out-of-form ace.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
