Posted on December 18, 2020

WWE Divas Championship
– AJ Lee vs. Nikki Bella (c)

Backstage, Byron Saxton does a quick interview with Nikki Bella and Brie Bella. Nikki talks about beating up AJ Lee tonight. Brie says blood is thicker than water and disregards the talk that Nikki has treated her badly.

We shoot back to the ring where AJ Lee is introduced. She comes skipping out to the ring as usual. Next out are The Bella Twins. Nikki Bella vs. AJ Lee for the WWE Divas Championship is up next here at WWE TLC.

Nikki attacks AJ as soon as the bell rings. She beats up AJ and controls the action for the first several minutes of the match. Almost squash-style stuff.

AJ finally does get some offense in, nailing Nikki with a Shining Wizard. When she goes to pin her, however, Brie puts Nikki’s foot on the rope. The ref sees it and kicks Brie out of the match.

AJ turns around right into Nikki spraying something into her eyes. She follows that up by hitting AJ with the Rack Attack. 1-2-3. Nikki wins and retains.

Winner and STILL WWE Divas Champion: Nikki Bella

Backstage: Tom Phillips Interviews Roman Reigns

Backstage, Tom Phillips is with Roman Reigns. Reigns says he told everyone at Survivor Series that he would be back. He says he knew he’d be back and he knew he’d make an impact. He says he’s the first person to declare a spot in the Royal Rumble match. It was hard to make that out because Reigns VERY BADLY botched that interview. He literally stopped and was dead silent trying to think of what to say next. He really screwed that up good.

Chairs Match
– Kane vs. Ryback

After that horribly botched interview segment, we head back to the ring. Kane’s theme hits and out he comes. Out next is Ryback. It’s time for our “T” match of the TLC show.

Ryback and Kane immediately go at it when the bell rings. It only takes a few seconds before chairs are brought into the mix.

Ryback starts blasting Kane with a steel chair over and over and over again. He opens a chair and goes to the ropes. He jumps off but Kane moves and Ryback crashes through the chair, bending it up with his body on impact.

Kane is now taking over the offense. He beats up Ryback with a chair. As the action becomes more slow-paced, the fans start chanting “Goldberg! Goldberg!” Kane blasts Ryback with a big boot while he was seated in a chair, knocking him out of the chair and onto the mat.

The crowd is absolutely dead throughout the majority of this match. Kane goes to the well one too many times in the corner of the ring. Finally, Ryback catches him and belly-to-belly suplexes him before grabbing a chair.

Ryback charges after Kane with the chair, but Kane catches him coming in with a big boot. Kane grabs the chair and is blasting Ryback repeatedly with it across the back.

Kane opens up two folding chairs and sets them in the middle of the ring facing each other. Kane goes to chokeslam Ryback onto them but Ryback reverses it and hits a spinebuster on Kane through the chairs. The fans break out into “Feed Me More” chants as Ryback gets up and starts nailing Kane with a chair over and over again across the back.

Ryback calls for his finisher, screaming out “feeding time.” He revs up, as the fans chant “feed me more” with each fist pump. He waits for Kane to get up and when he does, Ryback runs after him but Kane catches him with a chair shot. Kane hits a chokeslam and covers him. 1-2….Ryback kicks out somehow.

Kane looks pissed that his chokeslam wasn’t enough. He grabs a chair and sets it on the mat. He goes for a Tombstone on the chair but Ryback reverses into a Meathook clothesline. He follows that up with a Shellshock. 1-2-3. Ryback wins.

Winner: Ryback

WWE United States Championship
– Rusev (c) vs. Jack Swagger

Rusev’s theme hits and out he and Lana come with a giant Russian flag and the WWE United States Championship. His match with Jack Swagger is up next here at WWE TLC.

Lana gets on the mic and gets out exactly four words, “the prices of oil” — and then BOOM — she is cut off immediately by Jack Swagger’s theme song. During his entrance, we see some highlights from a week ago of Rusev attacking Swagger.

The bell rings and these two big boys immediately go at each other in the center of the ring. Swagger ultimately gets the better of the exchanges, prompting Rusev to duck out to the floor and attempt to run away. Swagger chases after him.

Back in the ring, Swagger continues his dominance and continues taking it to Rusev. Swagger goes for a Swagger Bomb but Rusev got out of the way in time.

Rusev goes for a super kick but Swagger catches it and locks him in the Patriot Lock. Rusev immediately escapes and slaps Swagger in The Accolade. Swagger fights it as long as he can but Rusev finally gets it. Swagger grabs the ropes, forcing Rusev to break the hold. But Rusev drags him back into the middle of the ring and re-applies the hold. Swagger is stuck in the hold forever. The announcers tease that he’s passing out until out of nowhere, Swagger fires up and starts breaking out of the hold.

Swagger manages to reverse the hold and now has Rusev stuck in the Patriot Lock. Rusev crawls towards the ropes. He ends up kicking his way out of the hold with his other foot. He slides out of the ring. Swagger comes out after him but walks right into a super kick. Rusev heads back into the ring as the referee is counting Swagger out. The ref’s count reaches nine and Swagger gets back in the ring. As soon as he does, he walks into a big kick from Rusev. Rusev applies The Accolade again. This time, Swagger taps out.

Winner: Rusev
