Bray Wyatt & Ryback Attack
From there, we cut to the ring, where the lights are out. Bray Wyatt is in the ring cutting a typical Wyarr-style promo. He’s talking about fear and how Ryback thinks he has no fear, but he knows a dirty little secret.
He knows how to scare Ryback. He knows how to beat him. He says Ryback has seen and conquered many before, but he’s never met anyone like him before. He says he’s never met the new face of fear.
Wyatt says Ryback is probably wondering “why me? why me?” Wyatt says it’s simple — he was in his way. He tells the parents to tell their kids something they might not learn — sometimes the bad guys just win.
As he celebrates to finish his speech, we hear “Feed Me More.” With that said, Ryback charges the ring. He jumps right on Wyatt and starts pounding away. Ryback nails Wyatt with a big spinebuster and another move, knocking him out of the ring.
Ryback leads the fans in a loud “Feed Me More” chant as Wyatt looks at him from the floor. Wyatt seems to be almost smiling after getting his ass kicked. We head to a commercial break. We are told that our main event is up next.
Randy Orton vs. Seth Rollins
When we return from the break, “The Viper’s” theme hits and out comes Randy Orton. As Orton makes his way to the ring, the announcers hype this Sunday’s WWE Payback fatal four-way match for Seth Rollins’ WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
With that being said, Seth Rollins’ theme music hits and out comes the reigning WWE World Heavyweight Champion without his J&J Security. The announcers speculate that they are still beaten up from the attack they received at the hands of Dean Ambrose earlier tonight.
With Rollins and Orton both in the ring, it is officially time for tonight’s WWE RAW main event. The bell sounds and here we go. Early on, Orton gains the offensive control over Rollins, grounding the faster man and keeping him on the mat.
Rollins works his way back to his feet and is now using his quickness and tenacity to get in some offense of his own. It’s short-lived, however, as the more powerful Orton takes back control of the offense. Meanwhile, the announcers are hard-selling the fatal-fourway match at this Sunday’s Payback PPV.
Orton continues to dominate the action until he finally misses a big spear in the corner but misses and nails himself shoulder-first into the ring post. Rollins dumps Orton out to the floor and is in full control of the action as we head to a mid-match commercial, likely our final break of the evening.
The action continues as Orton is still in firm control of the match. As Orton gets into “Viper Mode” and starts pounding the mat, waiting for Rollins to get up — just as he goes for the RKO, out of nowhere, J&J Security hit the ring.
Rollins and J&J Security beat down Orton after the match until Kane’s music hts. They stop and wait to see what Kane is going to do. Kane comes down and stands at ringside, watching this unfold.
As that happens, Dean Ambrose sprints to the ring to a huge pop. Ambrose cleans house of J&J Security. We’ve now got all four Payback main eventers, Reigns, Orton, Rollins and Ambrose in the ring, with Kane outside the ring standing there with a chair. Each guy takes a turn nailing Rollins.
The babyfaces continue taking turns hitting their finisher on Rollins, who is helpless by himself, as Kane remains outside the ring holding a chair and watching all of this unfold. Now they pick Rollins up and feed him to Orton, who blasts him with an RKO. Kane has still not budged outside the ring.
Now, Reigns blasts Orton with a spear out of nowhere, only to turn around into a Dirty Deeds from Ambrose. Ambrose’s music plays as he’s the only man standing in the ring, while Kane is the only man standing outside the ring. The announcers to their final hard sell for Sunday’s WWE Payback pay-per-view as we go off the air for this week’s RAW.
